IFA2014:飞利浦电视新品发布会视频纪实

  【天极网家电频道】IFA德国柏林消费电子展上，众多家电数码品牌都发布或展示了自家最新的科技性产品，飞利浦作为传统且具有百年历史的欧系品牌当然也不甘示弱，在展会现场召开了盛大的媒体发布会，并由Nico Vernieuwe先生(飞利浦电视首席运营官)向众人重点推荐了即将发布的新一代具有流光溢彩及安卓系统的4K超高清电视，以下为发布会现场实录：

  Now what we are announcing today is a unique combination at first of Ultra HD TVs, Ambilight TVs, powered by Android？. And this unique combination really allows us to bring the TV level, or the TV experience to the next level. And this is what I wanna show, and demonstrate to you and present to you during this press conference.

  我们今天宣布推出的是一个全新的独特组合——带流光溢彩及安卓系统的4K超高清电视。这个独特的组合让我们能够将电视技术或电视体验推动到一个全新的水平。这也正是我在本次新闻发布会上要向大家展现、演示和介绍的新产品。

IFA2014飞利浦电视发布会实况

  This summer we pre-announced our flagship product the 9809 series, which is really a product which has it all, from the picture quality point of view, beautiful design, if you look at the Ambilight which comes with it, this is our flagship product. It is of course UHD, it is powered by Android？, and it has Ambilight. Right now what we are announcing is to bring in a new range to the market, a new range 7, 8 and 9000 series, which has somebody, something for everybody’s taste, and budget. It is either curved or flat, if it’s high class or affordable. We bring the 4K UHD Android？ powered TV to the market in this announcement.

  The first one we wanna unveil is the 7900. So this is really a high quality TV. If your budget is somewhat strained, so it brings 4k UHD, it brings the Android？ operating system, and it brings 2-sided Ambilight. So this is the first of the announcements which we are doing today.

  Of course, we have a world first, curved UHD powered by Android？ which we bring to market, this is a 55 inch beautiful designed, this is the design show piece with a subtle ribbon stand, and it has 3-sided Ambilight.

  另外，我们还推出世界首款支持安卓系统的55英寸曲面4K超高清产品，外观设计非常美观，是一款凸显艺术设计的作品，带一个隐蔽的带状支架，采用三边流光溢彩技术。

  And last but not least, I would like to draw your attention to our 9109 high-end product, which you see on my left hand side, and this is really combining our picture processing power and our vision picturing enhancement algorithms, with the Android？ system, with 4-sided Ambilight, so this is really a great product, and remember the 4-sided Ambilight, because I will draw your attention to this product at the end of my presentation to give you a sneak preview at the technology showcase what we can do with Ambilight.

  Of course, seeing is believing. And if you look at the 7900, you can see that we bring a new dimension to smart TV, the combination of Google？ Play, and Google？ apps which you can address, the speed of interaction which you see on screen here live, is really amazing. And it’s also something which now for the first time, brings smart phone speed and smart phone visual views, to the smart TV. So this is why we are convinced that by bringing this to market we will now bring also the smart TV to the next level, also the richness of publications, which we can afford them, which we can bring now to the market. But as you can see, the speed is astonishing.

  This is just the beginning. I mean, by announcing this, we are tapping into over 1 billion Android？ users. Its huge community is served by application developers, content developers, and those people now have suddenly a wealth of new things to develop for the big screen. And big screen is really what Android？ was made for, and we enable this to its huge community of Android？ users, so we are pretty excited about this.

  Applications, of course, Pascal already mentioned that, 36% of the people cannot do without games. Game is one of the key applications. If you look at what is developed right now, with the combination of Google？ Play Store, and our smart applications, you can also see that we can now through the power play, exciting games, we also have pre-loaded games on our televisions, which are really optimized by using, making use of the Android？ operating system, and you can really turn your TV into a control, you can control it through a remote, you can control it through a pointer, so that this is really bringing again gaming experience to the next level in your home.

  We are also happy to announce the partnership with online games; so online games and Philips announce recently a partnership to bring online games to the big screen to Philips TV.

  And through this integration of their game cloud platform, we are allowing our consumers to tap into more than 300 games through the playback game bundle from the online games. So this is really tapping into a wealth of games from adventure games, racing games, children friendly games, to blockbusters, you name it. Online games in the combination with Philips TV, makes this now fully possible.

  So to recap a little bit already on what we do with the smart TV experience and the TV experience in the home, we are really looking at the speed which I demonstrated, the wealth of applications and content which we allow you to tap into, and also this developed community which really is just at the beginning and which likes to work in this open system other than in a private system. We are really just at the beginning; we are taking already smart TV now to the next level.

  Of course, smart TV is important, but we will not be Philips TV, we are talking about Philips TV, if you are not talking about picture quality - our heritage, we are bringing UHD to the market, we have now 13 models in our range, up from only 1 last year. But we will not be talking about Philips TV if we will not bring more. So with our award winning Ultra Resolution technology, our upscaling technology, we already today bring 4K experience while the content might not be 4K, because let’s be honest, a lot of the content which is out there right now is not yet 4K, but with our Ultra Resolution technology, we can really upscale, so that we not only bring more pixels, but we also bring better pixels, which is what we are all about.

  Last but not least, Ambilight, I already mentioned it, when we were talking about the 9000 series, 10 years of Ambilight - that is what we are celebrating today, 10 years of Ambilight, 10 million units sold. And you might wonder after 10 years, what is still possible with the technology? Well, we have already innovated through the last year’s or over the last year’s tremendous event, 2-sided, 3-sided, 4-sided Ambilight. As Pieter already mentioned, we seamlessly integrated the Hue lighting experience into our TVs through remote apps, so this is really bringing moods and moods and activities to your home in connection with Hue lighting, this is already there. We also enhanced the game experience, by bringing more intense lights and colors, if you are playing a game. So this is again to bring the experience of the TV to the next level. We also launched our sports applications so when you are cheering for your local team, you can select the court you want, when you are making noise and more noise when this court goes, the lighting intensifies, and colors intensify, and this really helps to create again another experience in your home.

  So is this the end of Ambilight? Absolutely not. For us, it is just the beginning again. And I wanna give you as we already announced a sneak preview the technology showcase, use a short video clip of what we know is capable, and what’s the capability of Ambilight. I will show a short video clip, use a short video clip of our upcoming marketing campaign, called afterglow, which we will use to promote our Android？ TVs, and this will really showcase the future of Ambilight what one day might become reality. Before you are getting at it already, I would like to thank you for your attendance, and really look at the TV here, for once don’t look at the big screen; don’t look at me, look at the TV. Thank you.
